Confined Space Safety Awareness
Overview:
Most workers who die in confined spaces die because they don’t recognize or control the hazards. There is one death in a confined space every four days. This awareness level module provides an introduction to the hazards of confined spaces. An awareness level person needs to be able to recognize a confined space when they see one, understand the potential dangers, and know what to do when they encounter a confined space.
Module length: approximately 15 minutes.
Outcomes:
Upon completing this training module, you should:
- Recognize a confined space when you see one.
- Understand the dangers of confined spaces.
- Know what to do to stay safe in areas with confined spaces.
You will have two weeks to complete this course.
